1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DocTrans (the "Service"), provided by TechNoma Group, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DocTrans is an AI-powered document translation service that converts scanned PDF documents from English to Japanese. The Service uses third-party AI models to perform optical character recognition (OCR) and translation, and returns the translated document in Word (.docx) and PDF formats.
3. Pricing & Payment
The price is ¥500 JPY (tax included) per page, with a maximum of 10 pages per document. The total amount is calculated automatically based on the page count of your uploaded PDF (e.g., a 5-page document costs ¥2,500). Payment is collected before translation begins, through TechNoma Group's payment processor. By submitting a payment, you authorize the charge.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Only upload documents that you have the legal right to share and translate
- Not upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service
- Not use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. Translation Accuracy & Disclaimer
Translations are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing translations before relying on them for any official, legal, medical, or business use. TechNoma Group is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use translated content.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechNoma Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenues, resulting from your use of the Service. TechNoma Group's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to TechNoma Group in the preceding twelve (12) months.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled according to TechNoma Group's Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the documents you upload. TechNoma Group does not claim ownership of your content. The Service itself, including its design and code, is the property of TechNoma Group.
9. Termination
TechNoma Group reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at its discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
TechNoma Group may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nepal.
