File quality matters
Translation quality depends heavily on the file you upload:
- ✓Text-based PDFs (created in Word, Google Docs, etc.) — excellent results.
- ✓Clean scanned PDFs from a flatbed scanner or scanning app (Adobe Scan, CamScanner) — good results.
- ✗Raw mobile photos of paper documents — poor results. Refunds are not available for this type of input.
Good to know
- ·Works best with scanned official documents — certificates, IDs, forms, letters.
- ·Names, places, and codes stay in English. Only translatable text becomes Japanese.
- ·Layout is preserved — tables, headings, and bold text are kept as close to the original as possible.
- ·Photos and signatures are replaced with placeholders so you can fill them in by hand or by pasting your own image.
- ·Always review the result before using it for official purposes — AI translations can occasionally contain errors.
